The Lord has given me the incredible opportunity to venture to Uganda this June to love, care, and serve students and missionaries in two different towns throughout Uganda. The Lord has blessed me with an excitement to serve Him and His children and I could not be more elated about this opportunity. I am heading over with a small team from Grace Mills River as requested by two missionaries Grace has supported for many years.
The heart posture of our team for this trip is very open, excited to see what the Lord is going to do, and ready to be called to whatever the missionaries need. Our primary focus is to partner and serve the long-term missionaries in their regular duties but also serve in three of the different schools that they partner with.
As we arrive, some of the ministries that were expressed as needs include hosting vacation Bible school, connecting with youth, church services, as well as evangelism to the community, and speaking on two of the radio programs that the pastor of the local church operates. We will be serving alongside Serge missionaries, Ann Kieser serving in Bundibugyo, and Edward and Christine Isingoma who serve in Hoima.
What an honor it has been to prepare and see the Lord work to form our team, our hearts, and our plans to make this happen which has made it very exciting!
