The Sunrise Project was started in 2002, serving children in the slum area of Goa and doing village evangelism in Andhra Pradesh, India. Today, the project works in the states of Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Sunrise Project runs an orphanage called New Life Children’s Home, as well as a daytime care center called Grace Day Care Center. These children’s ministries have led to the establishment of new churches. A women’s ministry provides counseling and psychological support to women who suffer from domestic violence. We support local training local workers and pastors through theological Bible training courses, many of whom grew up as Hindus but came to know Christ, and today work for the Lord. Sunrise Project has also planted four churches in Andhra Pradesh state, and continues to do village outreach programs in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra states.
