Onesimus CDA is an organization dedicated to helping the children of Ethiopia. Onesimus seeks to rehabilitate street children and reintegrate them with their families. Further, our goal is to prevent children on the verge of “streetism” from becoming full time street children. OCDA seeks to strengthen theses families by creating income generating activities that will afford them the ability to take care for their families independently.
On April 17, 2021, fifteen amazing young men and women stood on the grounds of the Onesimus property where a building had recently stood. That building had been demolished to make way for a new ministry center. Those young people, pulled from the ruin of homelessness, violence, and hopelessness and standing strong, happy, and whole in that place were a living testimony of the work of the Onesimus ministry and a symbol of that building.
As high school and university graduates, parents, and some even ministry workers themselves, they were a living testimony of the power of the love of Jesus and the fruit of the church of Christ when it is in obedience to Him. To look at them, in that place, was absolutely breathtaking. Rarely do we get the opportunity to see living miracles with our own eyes.
